Gyokuro is a high-quality Japanese green tea highly prized for its sweet, delicate taste and intense umami.

Considered one of the finest teas produced in Japan, Gyokuro is made from a specific type of tea that is left in the shade for several weeks before being harvested.
Gyokuro is traditionally brewed at a lower temperature and for a shorter time than other green teas to bring out its unique taste and aroma. It is often served in small cups, and can be enjoyed on its own or with traditional Japanese sweets.
